Children’s Hospice Week
Holly is a supporter of Children’s Hospices and is proud to join in the celebrations for Children’s Hospice Week from 15-22nd May. Watch the video below to hear Holly talk about this wonderful charity and who her hero is.
What is Children’s Hospice week?
Watch Holly talk about her support for Children’s Hospice week:
Children’s Hospice Week (15-22 May) is the UK’s biggest awareness and fundraising week for children’s hospice services. Throughout the week, children’s hospices across the UK will be celebrating the week hero style.
As well as activities running across the country at a children’s hospice near you, the main focus event of the week is an exciting art exhibition in London, called This is my hero. This one off creative display will showcase and auction artworks created by children who are not expected to reach adulthood, as well as hero masks exclusively designed by celebrities.
The week is being co-ordinated by Children’s Hospices UK, working alongside your local children’s hospice.
Children’s Hospices UK is the national charity that gives voice and support to all children’s hospice services. Our vision is for every child and young person who is not expected to reach adulthood and their family to have access to the highest standards of children’s hospice care and support close to home.
